The 2025 edition of the Summer School of the PhD course in "Biological and Natural Sciences" will be held jointly with the PhD course in "Agricultural, Food, and Environmental Sciences and Biotechnologies" of the University of Perugia.
The event, titled "Environmental and Human Well-Being: From Basic to Applied Research", will take place on June 11th and 12th at the Sala dei Notari, Corso Vannucci, Perugia. It will focus on research aimed at preserving environmental and human health, with a series of presentations by various Italian and international experts in the field.
On June 12th at 4:30 PM, a round table titled "Production and Environmental Sustainability" is scheduled. It will bring together representatives from public institutions and companies from the Umbria region to discuss public policies, challenges, opportunities, best practices, and the social, economic, and environmental impacts related to production and environmental sustainability in today’s ever-changing world. –

La summer school del dottorato è organizzata ogni anno dal collegio docenti nel periodo estivo. E' rivolta ai dottorandi, docenti e ricercatori dell'Ateneo (e agli studenti di laurea magistrale eventualmente interessati) e si propone di fornire un'occasione di incontro e confronto tra esperti nazionali e internazionali, docenti, ricercatori, dottorandi di altri dottorati, rappresentanti di enti pubblici e privati sulle tematiche che caratterizzano i due curricula del dottorato "Processi vitali e benessere umano" e "Interazione organismo-ambiente"

La prima edizione della Summer School del dottorato di Ricerca in Scienze Biologiche e Naturali si svolgerà a Perugia dal 7 al 8 giugno 2023.

L'evento sarà organizzato in cinque sessioni:

  • Coevolutionary dynamics in biological interactions
  • Bridging Theory and Practice in Environmental Research
  • Threats from emerging pathogens and antimicrobial resistance
  • Focus on New Technologies for Life Sciences
  • Threats from the environment and life-style

L'evento si terrà esclusivamente in presenza. Non sono previsti costi di partecipazione, ma la registrazione è obbligatoria. Posti limitati in esaurimento.

Per chi fosse interessato, sarà predisposta un'area per l'esposizione di poster scientifici. Il formato consigliato è di 100 x 70 cm fino a un massimo di 84 × 119 cm (A0) in modalità portrait.
