crossed beam experiment is a
St. Sebastian painted in 1505
by Pietro Vannucci (known as
Il Perugino), a master of Italian
Renaissance, in the church of
Panicale, near Perugia.
The archer on the bottom right
appeared in the poster of the
12th International Symposium
on Molecular Beams, held in
Perugia in 1989.
