2001-2004:  Coordinator of the European Thematic Network LabS TECH (Laboratories on Science and Technology for the conservation of the European Cultural Heritage);
2004-2009:  Coordinator of the European Integrated Infrastructure Initiative  Eu-ARTECH (Access, Research and Technology for the conservation of the European Cultural Heritage).

Member of European Physical Society, EPS (1995-2004: Board Member of the Chemical Physics Section of the Molecular Physics Division).
Member of the Italian Physical Society (SIF) and Italian Chemical Society (SCI).
Member of the Board of the Center S.M.A.Art (Scientific Methodologies applied to Archaeology and Art).
Member of the Scientific Board of the "European School for Conservation of Books" in Spoleto (Italy).
